Aventurine
Aventurine is translucent quartz spangled with bits of mica or other minerals. It is also known as “Indian Jade”.
Aventurine can be green, blue or red. It is found in India and many South American countries. It has been a very popular stone to tumble for the past 50-100 years.
The ancient Tibetans used Aventurine to decorate statues, using it mostly for eyes for it was thought it would amplify visionary powers.
Today Aventurine is used as an opportunity stone. It can work to give the wearer that little something in their favor. It is said that wearing Aventurine is especially good for Bankers, Entrepreneurs and those on their first dates.
