Garden Bobble Ball by Zef Rose
Bobble Ball by Zef Rose
Bobble Balls can be placed in pots or on the ground for a little interest, like rocks. Or for their main use, they each have a hole that accepts a 3/16" steel rod. The weight of the ball on top of the rod causes them to bobble around in a slight breeze, but will not blow away or fall
over in high winds. These rods are also available at the hardware store. The 4' length allows for the most movement when driven into the ground about 10 inches, depending on the density of the ground where they are installed. Also they will not break if they clank together as they bobble (a common customer question.) They also look fabulous in
potted plants, which means they can be brought indoors too.
A display of these in the garden is quite striking. The glass is highly reflective in the sunlight, and they mimic flowers in the winter. Bobble Balls last forever!
