I owe much of my artistic sensibility to my artist friend Heather Ramsay, who I worked with in two companies - Parvenue, Inc., and Ramsay Studio. Heather taught me about the use of imagery and texture, and helped develop my love of whimsical combinations of found and crafted objects. My primary occupation is as a Community College Business instructor, however an artistic call has been a part of my life since working with Heather from the late 1980s into 2000. This artistic calling has revealed itself in my latest work - turned wood and found objects, charms, and metal sculptures with broader utility as pens, bottle stoppers, and other office and home implements
