Acrylic on Wood Paintings by Jules Anslow
As an attentional hummingbird I enjoy the immediacy of acrylic and the airbrush; as a collector of junk, I like the novelty of found objects; as an unfulfilled sculptor, I am drawn to the jigsaw and "Free Wood" piles; as a color junkie, I can't resist the mistints in the paint department. I generally paint the base painting with brushes, then provide shadows and highlights with airbrush.
