The pieces you see here are a broad representation of some of the work I have created over the past year. I use slip cast, wheel thrown and hand built pottery as my geometric, three dimensional canvas to inspire my paintings. After the piece has been bisque fired, it is designed, drawn and painted "freehand" using only lead free, food safe glazes, which I apply in layers in order to achieve the vibrant and dynamic colors you see on the finished pieces. I never use stencils, decals or any other prefabricated images insuring that each piece of my work has its own unique personality.
